I get to go there!!!!!!!

I love the fabrics at Hearthside. She has tastes similar to mine and have not seen in the other shops. Lone Star well not much there. The others visit every trip to Amish county. Enjoy...cash or credit BOTH.

An Ohio quilter here. Where is Kidron? Probably too far from Akron for me to participate. Just my luck.

Kidron is not very far from Akron at all! Maybe 30 - 35 miles, depending on where you are in Akron. Kidron is in the Amish area of Ohio, southwest of Akron in Wayne county.

So you can go! Go, and spend some money for me!

I am going to this with my mom and one of my sisters and a friend, maybe 2 friends. Mom and I went last year and it was great fun! Quilterguy, google one of the quilt shops listed and they will be able to show directions to the shop. You will see how far it is. Not a bad trip. I drive down from Cleveland, Ohio.

Are all of the quilt shops coming to the same location in Kidron? ..... or is there the one central location in Kidron and then one travels to all of the quilt shops also?

dirty1mom 03-07-2011 12:21 PM

You go to all the shops individually and end up at a place in Kidron, Oh for food and prizes. Go to Hearthsidequiltshoppe.com and link on hop link. They have the info and directions.

I'm not going to get excited yet, but I'm hoping I can make it to this Hop. I'm going to check with friends now to see if anyone wants to take me. It will make a great birthday present to me, lol. My birthday is this month.
