This is where my brain injury brings up such hate !!
I was working on cutting table and have 2 different containers with hundreds !! of straight pins. These containes both have lids that I don't remember to put back on when not using. Needless to say I'm sure you can all see where I am going with this. I was so into what I was doing and both containers were sitting on a pile of crap and I pushed something and they both went flying all over into all the crap on the floor and will have to carefully be weeded out now !!! I'm going to go and have a good cry now. |

bummer! Don't be so hard on yourself!!! |
Do you have a magnetic pincushion or just plain magnets. Would make it a little safer and quicker to clean up. I feel your pain. Have done the same thing before.
|
Ahhh, Im sorry. It will be funny.....someday :)
|
Dreamer - No tears sweetie. Find a magnet to pick the pins up with. The magnet will find the pins, even if they are in all the crap on the floor. :)
|
That's the story of my like when it comes to straight pins.

Awww...hate it when things like that happen. I have really weak hands due to carpal tunnel and I am always dropping things. The other day doing dishes and cleaning the kitchen I dropped a dish, glass glass and a jar of olives one right after the other. What a mess I had!
I would suggest getting a couple of the magnetized pin holders. I knock mine off the sewing table with regular frequency and rarely do any of the pins fall off and scatter. |
We all have done this Dreamer!! My husband is always warning me to put the lid on. He is usually the one who steps on the one I didn't find!
|
hang in there, if you have a magnetic pin cushion that would probably be a big help for you, wish I was there to help you....☺

Oh, been there so many times. Just grin and bear it - you'll do it again in the future! I bought those pins with the beaded head which helps when they spill but not that great for sewing over. Can't win them all.
