If you want to see real life nature happening - here's is a live-cam of a mother & father eagle raising their 3 chicks which were born the first week or so in April. Awesome!

I have been watching them after 2nd one hatched.
I almost fell over Tuesday when I thought there
was something wrong with the cam. Came back later
in the afternoon and discovered them all sitting
in a nest full of snow. They are great to watch.
The older one is starting to get his pin feathers.

The eagles nest is in my home county. I remember the first time I saw an eagle. It was about 30 years ago, about this time of the year. I was so excited! The kids and I were on the way to church and there was a light dusting of snow on the ground. We passed a plowed field and out of the black and white snow covered ground an eagle flew up. I quick looked to see if anyone was coming, stopped and we watched for a few seconds as it flew away. Can't remember if we were late for services, but if we were it was worth it! My DH still chuckles whenever I remind him of the first time I saw an eagle. He's not sure who was more excited, me or the kids! Now a pair spends time patrolling our skies every winter. They are gone now, probably in a tree somewhere!
