Cosmos? Flower?

I think it is a Moss Ross flower - am I right?

Mom used to have these all along the back of the house around her rose bushes.

She loved them because they sell re-plant. When the bloom dies, it forms a seed. It drops to the ground and fills in around the other plants. Makes a great ground cover or edge.
