Thank you to all who sent prayers and well wishes. I just spoke with my sister in Joplin,Mo. She said the devastation is unbelievable and she is stunned. Just 2 blocks from her home some of the homes are just gone....she said it takes a little while for you to figure out where you are. No landmarks anymore. I am so happy to know she is still alive. I can't sop crying.
Again thank you, thank you, thank you. Miss Ruthie |
So sorry for the devastation but glad your sister is okay. It is so hard to be so far away from ones we love at times like this. Prayers for all who have been weather struck recently.
|
Oh, That is so good that you spoke with your sister!!!
|
I volunteer at our local food bank and 20 totes of bottled water was sent to the area by truck as well as hygiene and paper items to Joplin. Many huge cardboard totes are at local radio and tv stations to be filled with necessary items. The outpouring from the communities as well as neighboring states is phenomenal. It is still shocking to see the videos and hear the stories of this EF-4 tornado.
Glad you were able to talk to your sister, she was most fortunate and blessed. |
I'm crying with you. I am so so happy that were able to talk to her.
|
Praise God! May our Blessed Mother wrap her arms around all those affected by the tornado and comfort them and provide for their needs.
