was born in Clydebank, Scotland on a blustery day in Feb.1955. She was loved and cherished in her youth for her beauty and performance, but sadly she began to age, and she was shuffled around from place to place, losing some of her luster, but not her spunk. Eventually, she was abandoned in a dark and dusty corner of a KY flea market. Placed ni a babinet that was too big for her, she sat there. leaning lopsided and dusty and I had to rescue her. She has none of her attachments, but she was so grateful to be rescued from obscurity that she purrs for me.
Fortunatley, Singer has all of the attachments I need for her.

wow, I see these on Craig's list but fear purchasing.
are they hard to clean up and get running? and what is a good price?

I second that. Nicely told story, makes one want to read on...


Makes me think of the old movie about a yellow Rolls-Royce, its change of hands, the adventures it has etc.
