Since I am moving in a month, my home is pretty torn up. Half-packed boxes, donation piles, and just general stuff everywhere.
So I am trying to decide, what project would be best suited to work on while in this mess and decided to dig out my hexie UFO. Portable, no machine needed.

My question is, what do you like to work on to keep sane when things go topsy-turvy??

I'm likely to knit in this type of situation...something easy like hats that I can stash in a little bag and easily keep up with. I love your hexie quilt!! I haven't gotten past squares :) and I'm not confident about handpiecing!

Wasn't aware there was such a thing as a chaos proof project!

Hand embroidery. I have pillowcase sets, dishtowel sets in my stash plus I have scraps for crazy quilt motifs going as my forever project. I used to make yo-yos but burned out doing those.

Yo-Yos - great! Why didn't I think of that. Haven't done them for ages, so no burn-out problem here.
