From the start of the Dresden Plate start on July 16 I was able to complete the lap quilt with the final hand stitching still to do when I have a little free time. DH really likes the colors. I'd like to do another quilt (maybe a larger one for a double bed) with different colors. I just ordered labels with my name on them from a site online so I can stitch the label onto the back of my quilts in a bottom corner for people can see who made these treasures.

I pulled the border colors out of the dresden plate

It was hard to decide on the backing but I decided to use the color I used for the centers of the Dresden
