Seriously? $45.00 for 1 yd!! I know the print has metallic gold throughout because I have a FQ of it but I didn't realize that it was 24karat gold!! Would anyone really pay that?

The whole Harry Potter line was sold at Walmart when the first HP movie came out. I bought yards of each print to put away for my DGD to have one day. I have the panels too. I paid maybe $4 a yard. It's 100% cotton but kinda stiff and most of it has the glitter in the print. I don't buy much fabric to age but I did buy yards of each print of the paper doll fabric to put away. I do it to leave something a little special from me to my DGD. She likes to fabric shop but not to sew or quilt so much now.

Never know if someone out there has money to quilt!! :lol:

Insane. I seriously hope that no one buys it for that price. Someone is running a scam.

If someone wants to pay that amount then why is it a scam? A movie production company would pay that and more if the fabric was needed as a prop for a movie. The first place scene decorators look? Ebay.

Most of the Major League Baseball prints are Out of Print also, and they sell for the same...my DH paid $45 for a yard of fabric...don't remember which team, but yes, he actually did it!! I was floored, but then I saw what some of them go for. Look up New York Yankees fabric and you will see astronomical prices...or Boston Red Sox. Same.
