Hi all,
Saw the boards for the first time today. Just thought I would dispell somethings and let you know the Old Sewing In The Carolinas shop has changed and is a great store. The owner has hired new management and has added a bargain row now that is full of great fabric @5.99 yrd!! The Teachers there are awesome and if you are traveling in a group they will create a day class for you!! They had over 3,000 bolts & very helpful and very knowledgeable. So despite some sour sounding grapes out there give it a whirl, they are between two golf shops (drop the hybby off) and RonJuan's restaurant (if he is done before you send him there for a sandwhich). They will help you and give you a list of the other shops in the are too. check them out on facebook.Quilting At The Beach Quilt on :) |

Hi and welcome to the board from Iowa.

Welcome from Michigan.:)

The shop mentioned in Myrtle Beach does have at times some very good teachers. In fact a friend teaches there. As for new help that is old news, they change often. NEVER let then do any repair on your machine.

Hi ~~ Welcome from Minnesota :)!

Hello and welcome to QB, from western Nevada!
|
Welcome from Indiana! I would love to check out the revamped store (if I lived closer!) There is a quilt shop in the town that I live in and I absolutely refuse to use it because of the service and the fabric selection but there are quilters in my town that won't buy anywhere else! I actually bought my sewing machine there but won't give them another dime of my money! Spend your money where you want to and don't patronize where you don't want to!!!
