I'll be there Friday, only live 1 hour away. Nancys Notions has a huge booth with lots of bargain prices. Last year she had QSQ 1 yd cuts for $4/yd, Accuquilt cutter deals, irons, etc. I always hit that booth first.
Where are you from? Planning other activities for the area? |
I am going by bus from Cedarburg on Friday the 9th. Material Matters is filling up a bus, might still have room if you are in this area. $40 covers the bus, breakfast, supper and the show ticket.
Going to meet a quilting buddy from Baraboo that I met over the quilting board for the first time. I am really looking forward to this day of filling my eyes and mind with quilting. Carol J. |
Thanks but I already have plans with my girlfriend. BTW, I work at the hospital in Baraboo LOL!
|
We might run into each other, who knows? The friend I am going to meet actually lives near North Freedom, she said.
Everyone is a friend at a quilt show. Carol J. |
True! Have you been to this expo before?
I hope to go to Cedarburg someday, heard it is really nice at Christmas time. |
No, I haven't been to this expo before. I have been to the Paducah quilt show 7 times, my DD has over 12 times, she goes every year but 4 days is too much for me now.
Cedarburg is a fun town to visit, many shops with craftsmen and women and an old mill turned into shops. Several quilt shops too. I love it, not far from our home in West Bend. The Wisconsin Museum of Quilts & Fiber Arts is right outside of Cedarburg and a worthwhile spot to spend some time. For more information go to http://www.wiquiltmuseum.com and you will want to come and see what they have done to promote quilts and textiles. Carol J. |
I hope to go on Sat. My first time there. Anyone else going from the fox valley?
|
ere is a link to print the meet & greet button the chat room came up with
www'digitalartquilts.com/chatlogo.html print on card stock it is a pdf so all the buttons will be the same Julia |
I printed the logo on card stock and am contemplating how to use it. I might just print it on cloth and use it as an applique. Have to find out how to do that.
How are the rest of you going to display it so we can find each other? Carol J. |
