I'm a new member on this forum and wanted to say hi to everyone! :-) I'm a fairly new quilter (~5 yrs) with a background in dressmaking (as evident by the number of pins I use when I piece...). I love bright colors, contemporary lines, stars and circles. I'm fascinated by the history of quilting and traditional patterns but I tend to be more attracted by contemporary patterns and techniques for my own projects. I'm intrigued by how I develop as a quilter and how my preferences change over time - as an example, I couldn't stand Kaffe Fasset fabrics a couple of years ago and now I just love them!
Sorry about the long introduction, I guess I got carried away :-) Anyway, happy to be on this forum!
