Hello to you amazingly creative people! Great to find an active forum like this on quilting, I have been hooked for a couple of months and haven't had anyone to share my excitement with because no one in my circle of existing friends quilts. My grandma is amazing at it, but she lives in another state and can't hear very well, so I can't gush to her until I see her in person. Just looking around the topics here I can tell I am in the right place. Some of your avatars alone are breathtaking. Mine is my very first mini-quilt, and I am working on a much larger one now. It is the Quilt of the Month by Joann called "autumn leaves" and I chose that so I could learn from their detailed instructions and pre-cut fabric. It's working out very well, except that I stay up too late because it keeps me so engaged. I can't wait to get to know some of you on this forum! I am 31, I am a lead singer of a southern rock/country band, and I work in IT...and I have a lot of hobbies!

Welcome to the board. |
Glad you found us. I think the internet will make quilting much easier for younger quilters. Now they can connect with others with the same love of quilting as they have.
I love the pictures and tutorials that are shared here. Enjoy your time here but beware it can use up your limited quilting time....LOL. Kat |
I love your Texas quilt! Wow!
