This is a utility quilt for my GS who lives in NH. Its not for show but to use and keep warm. Its foundation pieced and using up my strips. No particular pattern, just winging it. Hope to finish it soon as its getting cold up North.

Great use of your scraps. I love strip quilts.

Nothing scrappy or utilitarian there ... it's going to be a lovely quilt and already looks so nice and warm and cuddly with the fabrics/colours being used!

(OK ... it is "scraps" but doesn't look scrappy!)

that's wonderful. the block size looks like dryer sheets, it that what you used for the foundation?

Scrap quilts are so fun to make, a real stress buster. Don't forget to put a label on the back.

Now I want to jump projects and start a scrappy string quilt too!
