Someone else mentioned this earlier and I tried it and it WORKS! Pretty amazing. It does create a bit of a mess though, I had tiny bits of foil stuck on my cutting mat so now I do it on a small cutting mat that I can stick in my trash can when I'm done and brush all the tiny pieces off.

Terrific idea, I am going to try it. I've also heard it works well with your scissors, so why wouldn't it work with your rotary cutter. Thanks for the link.

My problem is more often a nick in the blade than a dull blade. I just need to be more careful about running over pins.
