Sharpen Rotary Blades using Aluminum Foil!!
Here is the address: http://www.pennyshands.blogspot.com/...ter-blade.html
I don't know how to actually link it so that you can go directly to it. I tried this and it actually works!!! |
Thanks I will have to try it, gives me the shivers just thinking about.
|
huh...that is a great tip. Thanks for sharing. :)

Interesting! I had heard about it but not seen it in action. Worth a try. Thanks for sharing!
|
Thank you. I am going to try this.

Someone else mentioned this earlier and I tried it and it WORKS! Pretty amazing. It does create a bit of a mess though, I had tiny bits of foil stuck on my cutting mat so now I do it on a small cutting mat that I can stick in my trash can when I'm done and brush all the tiny pieces off.

Terrific idea, I am going to try it. I've also heard it works well with your scissors, so why wouldn't it work with your rotary cutter. Thanks for the link.

The idea makes my teeth hurt.
|
Thanks I'll give it a try.

My problem is more often a nick in the blade than a dull blade. I just need to be more careful about running over pins.
