Hi from Ohio
Hello everyone I'm Regina and I live in Ohio. I'm 49, retired (forced retirement), visually impaired but I love creativity that comes along with quilting. I am normally a crocheter but I have made some bandana quilts and rag quilts but I really am new to quilting and would love to learn what I can from those who are more knowledgeable about this art than I am. I am currently working on getting either my ssi or my disability from the military and at that time I can start persuing building up my stash. I would like to make a flannel quilt and thought about getting used flannel shirts to do this with. I know where I can get them for free and thats a great price to me. I cant wait to read what everyone else has said in their intros. So glad I found this group.

HI Regina, welcome! I'm originally from Canton / Akron area of OH, and now in So. California.
Using flannel shirts is a great idea. I know of another group that goes to thrift shops, yard sales etc for the sole purpose of buying men shirts for making quilts. |
