Sneaky cat

I have a big boy cat who is housebroken. He hates a litter box. He will typically spend the mornings outside if the weather allows. It was raining today, but he insisted on being let out a 6:30. I did not let him back in and haven't seen him all day. Naturally, I assumed he was outside.

I just went upstairs to photograph a Kindle case I did for a friend...and look what I found! I especially love how he's using a jelly roll for a pillow. Those are some WIPs on that table. And now I will definitely have to wash them before they leave the house! LOL

Smart Kitty :)

Thankfully, even with ALL that fluff, he's not a big shedder. If it was his mama up there, I'd have to shoo her off. She leaves little white kitty hairs everywhere she goes! But Nikon pretty much never sheds!

Love that photo! I would call it "comfy kitty".

My cat has NEVER done that! But they sure could almost be twins! My boy is HUGE. Easily 20lbs. We've had his mommy since she was 6 weeks old. Our babysitter had her mommy. We brought home this nearly tailless, Siamese-marked white fluff ball and she's still so tiny, only 7 pounds. It's hard to believe she's Nikon's mother! She's had a few litters (we just got her spayed though!), and Nikon was in the first litter. He wasn't on our list of kitties to keep from the litter, but somehow my husband thought the sole all-black kitty should be called Nikon. And since we're photographers who use Nikon cameras...I fell in love with him. He has been the very best cat I've ever had. He doesn't spray, he housebroke himself, and he is incredibly gentle. I've seen all the pics here of sweet kitties making a bed on fabrics, but mine just hadn't really done that, until today. Now he's on my husband's desk, and mommy is on the desk chair. Little sister is probably somewhere tormenting our dog. Maybe I should go check the WIPs again?? HAHAHA!

What a doll. I esp like the long-hairs, but don't have one right now. He looks so peaceful.
