I would like your advice, please!
I love my vintage Singers, but my sewing room has grown too small! I need to let some of them go, but it is hard. Is there a market for the vintage machines? I want them to go to someone who will appreciate them. For example, I have a nice Singer 115 treadle head with gingerbread decals that I have no cabinet for so I need to let her go. She sews great, and I am not looking to make a profit selling her, just want her to be used and appreciated. I know that sounds silly, but that is how I feel.
I don't want to deal with Craig's List (long story) and don't know how to sell on Ebay, so does anyone have a suggestion where I could list her? Thanks! |
Craigslist is probably the best option for ease of use and visibility, but have you asked if you can advertise at your LQS or Jo-Ann's? Posting a flyer at your grocery store couldn't hurt either.

You can also list them here. I'll be in Ohio in July ... would love to get a look at the Gingerbread machine. I have a Singer Treadle cabinet and I want a good working machine to use.

You can't list things for sale here until you read and follow all the selling rules located on the Sales page. But, good luck finding homes for you machines.

Where are you in Ohio?
