Anyone have experience with No-No hair remover?
 

I have what I call a full blown tree that grows on my chin and has to be plucked. Once I know it's there, I can't stop till I find it and get it out. To others, it's not visible until 3 or 4 days later, but during that time - I can't focus for any length of time on quilting or sewing just knowing it's there.
My question - Do any of you have experience with this NO-NO thing they advertise on TV for hair removal?

If you goggle it most of the reviews say it's a No!

Ask a dermatologist what would work at home. or your regular Doctor. stuff on t.v. just isn't what it claims to be.
(my son didn't get chin hairs until in his 30's- lucky guy!!)

Sally, I don't have any experience with the product. is it a single hair? (I have a full blown forest!!) Maybe electrolysis? Isn't it eventually supposed to stop the growth?

I understand how you feel though - once you know it's there!

I very rarely have had to shave my legs since junior high, and I could count the hairs under my arms on one hand. Lucky me! All of us girls in the family had very little body hair, but we are not hairless either. I have very faint peach fuzz on my face since my hysterectomy that fortunately I can use a facial trimmer. I plucked these trees you talk about from my mother in law when she was disabled. I hope you find a solution, because I know it wasn't fun for me taking care of her facial issues. It must have bothered her to no end too because I would get phone calls at the most inopportune times. Are you talking about ingrown chin hairs? There has to be a permanent solution for these I would think, through a dermatologist office?

I just got a flier for this product so I googled reviews. The first few that came up were very complimentary, but I found it suspicious that each one had a link to where you could buy it. So I went to Amazon to see what the review were there - WOW!! 249 reviews, 202 gave it the WORST possible rating. Apparently many people found it to be no good.

Laser hair removal in a dermatologist's office is the way to go. It's not painful the way electrolysis is, plus it works better and is more permanent. You should be able to get a free consultation. Check dermatology offices in your area. Laser hair removal is somewhat pricey, but really worth it for the long-term results.

I called to ask how much it cost and had to listen to 5 min of selling stuff . I finally got tired of it and thanked her for the info but I just wanted to know how much it cost. When she told me it would be 3 pyts of $90.00 I just thanked her and hung up. I can pluck it cheaper.
