Quilted Halloween Ornaments

5 Attachment(s)
My sister gave me a black Halloween tree with orange lights and I had to scramble to find some ornaments for it and I decided to try to also make some of those quilted ball ornaments. It was the perfect project to do while sitting in a car on a trip recently from Albuquerque, NM to Natchez, Ms and Lafayette, La. I was able to make 10 of them on my trip since my husband did all the driving. It also made just sitting there so much fun. Look out they are kind of addictive.

How cute! I've never heard of a halloween tree. Where do you find a black tree? Your ornaments look fantastic!

My sister said that she bought the tree at Pier One.

Cute, My DS and DDIL have a "black" Christmas tree. You can keep it up 'til January :)

Where did you find your patterns? It's a really great tree!

No pattern really but I googled "quilted ornaments" and found a free tutorial online.

Just think, if you used a green tree, you could have decorations on it all year, just change them to fit the season. It seems the stores always have decorations for all the year.

I like your tree. Your folded star ornaments are really cute.

I haven't heard of a Halloween tree either, but it's cute.
