Christmas Apron
3 Attachment(s)
This pattern is a Sew4Home freebie with tutorial. It incorporates quilting, embroidery and sewing.
I found the counted cross-stitch 'Merry Christmas' at a yard sale this summer. I knew then it was going to be a apron bib, but not exactly which apron pattern. The pockets and upper apron bib are quilted. There are 8 embroidered motifs - each took about 12 minutes for the embroidery machine to complete with 7 thread changes. Ugh! The pattern called for rick rack and all I had on hand that would go with this was some little gold rick rack - doesn't make a big statement, but it is there on the pockets and at the edge of the apron! I spent far too much time on this - but overall I am happy with result. It is lovely. Not sure what I'm going to do with it. Too nice for me to use. |

Cute apron, great work. Nope, Yellowbird if you made it and spent lots of time on it, use it Don't hide it away in a drawer for the future. Use it and enjoy it now and show off your skills, you deserve it. Merry Christmas
