I just got a singer with the power cord cut. Where can I get a replacement power cord for singer, AL631390?

The machine with that number is a 201 - should be pretty heavy. Is it just missing the power cord or is it also missing the foot controller? If the former, super easy to find one from any device and put it on. If missing the FC also, you'll have to buy one.
Also, if someone cuts the cord from a machine it usually means the wiring is suspect, so proceed with caution.

I have a 15-91 that was once a cabinet machine. The controller wires had been cut so the lazy so & so's could removed it from the cabinet. I said lazy because to properly remove it they'd have to unwire the controller or the cord block.

So if it's the controller wires that were cut, that's a good possibility.

Sew-Classic has the power / controller cord set, or the individual cords and also the controller depending on how you want to wire it.

My Singer 101, mounted in a cabinet, had it's wires cut also. I think sometimes thrift stores will cut the wires to avoid the liability of selling an item with bad/questionable wiring.

Thanks, I'll look up Sew-Classic. It is a beautiful machine, and I'd like to use it. C
