SASHING HELP--Please
2 Attachment(s)
I have been working on another scrappy quilt, using halloween and fall prints mostly, and now need to decide on the sashing. I am using strictly from my stash, and I found these 2 pieces that could work. Any comments or suggestions are very much appreciated. this first one has a fine green sashing with dark maroon cornerstones. I would actually use a dark green cornerstone, but I had some maroon ones cut, so it is just for contrast.

The second definitely. It just brings out the colors in the scrappy block.

I also like the second one a lot better. It is really pretty.

The maroon looks great! :)

the 2nd one 'pops out at you'. depends on whether you want a 'pop out' or a restful quilt. the both look good. can't go wrong either way.

ok im the odd (wo)man out.. i love LOVE the contrast of the green... IMHO the maroon is to dark for my taste...
|
I like the first one better

Either one would be beautiful, but I love the first one with the green, because it is a bit different.

It's always amazing to me how a single fabric choice can make a quilt look so different! Both are nice, but the second one has way more pop than the first.
|
I like the second one - it makes the blocks look "richer".
