looking forward to spring
 

I know of only 2 people that still hang there laundry out to dry me and my neighbor a few doors up from me so I made these clothespin bags you button them around the wash line easy to slide as you go. pattern on Martha stewart site, I'm giving the cewpie one to my neighbor she is such a sweetie and gets around pretty good for pushing 90 the blue floral print is for me and the checked green and yellow I am going to donate to my quilt guild to put in the door prize package. I guess they can be used for other things besides for clothespin. thanks for looking

MandyRose - I still dry much of my laundry outside. Love doing so. Is there any better smell than a linen closet full of fresh air dried sheets?! Was able to dry outside until the second week of November. One of the things I like best about spring. Your clothespin bags are very cute.

Those are so cute. If the tabs are long enough, you could also put them around the handle of the stove to hold your potholders.

So cute. My guess is the younger ones don't even know what a clothesline is! I love hanging my sheets out to dry and my quilts out to air!

Those are very cute and serve a great purpose. I don't have a line at my house but am looking for a way to get one in my yard. Right now I just have a stand that I can use for smaller items but not the sheets which is a bummer.

My daughter hangs all of her laundry outside. She does throw her towels in the dryer for a few minutes when she brings them in, just to soften them up a bit.

I am the only one on our block that has clothespoles and a line. I hang everything except socks and towels on the liine. I take my iron and ironing board out on the patio and as the clothes dry, I iron them (well, what has to be ironed, I iron) and I fold what has to be folded and bring everything in in one felled swoop or is that felled swoop!!!!!!! I love hanging outside! How does one get the pattern. I am 75 and the oldest youngster on the block. I would love to make me one. I am using the one with the coat hanger.....know what I mean? I would love to have a clothesline and to dry some things outside in the sun. But alas, I can't find a welcer who will put the three or four inch pipes together for me. Most of them are so young, they've never seen a clothesline! froggyintexas
