I've never seen so much fabric in my whole life

Those words were uttered by my 33 year old daughter when I showed her, on my iPad, that I was going to purchase some fabric at M*QC. She thinks I'm crazy for wanting more fabric after she came for a visit and saw my sewing room. But I helped her fold her blouses and, I swear, she had over 30 shirts in her bag. So, what's the difference? I bought her two shirts today and now I want some fabric. I shouldn't feel guilty about buying more when she has the same problem. So, do I ignore her and purchase my fabric? I say, heck yes!!

Heck YES!!!

What does she plan on doing with all those blouses when she's done with them? 30 shirts are a lot of fabric. She carrying a potential scrap bag! LOL!!!

Of course. It's not really a question, is it?

Of course, then you will get one of those awesome e-mails telling you when it's on it's way! I just got one today and I don't need more fabric!

This is a trick question right? I mean, who among us is going to say no to fabric?!

The style of her blouses may go out of style, but our fabric never does - IMHO. Buy the fabric and enjoy it! Guess we all have our "fixes".

Jcrow - you are so right! My daughters are 32 and 29 and try never to go to a fabric store with me - and I leave my husband in the car if he happens to be with me. And those special deliveries that arrive from time to time - I wash them and take them straight to my sewing room, because when I do show them to the family (if they are around when the packages arrive) there is the glassy stare and no interest. But they do admire the finished projects - so I just don't bother them with the details.
