Help with a forgotten recipe

Many many years ago I would make a fruit platter arranged in rows for the 4th of July (pineapple, strawberries, blueberries) The fruit marinated in a ginger ale mixture overnight. This is not an essential recipe but I've been trying to located the old recipe. Does anyone remember this? I thought I remembered a colorful picture of it in a recipe book but I've eliminated so many books with a move across the country.

Thanks!

Sounds interesting but could not find anything exactly like what you describe ...... did find a fruit mixture (cut up strawberries, blueberries, and sliced bananas) mixed with lemon juice. I think I'm going to make this one for a special picnic. Good luck!!

You could also use one of the white sodas to soak the fruit overnight. White sodas are 7-UP, Sprite, ... its the citric acid in the soda that does it.
