RWB quilt for new US citizens, made from disappearing hourglass pattern

Just got the binding done on this red-white-and-blue quilt. The blocks are the disappearing hourglass pattern (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xXggafOP230). It is for a co-worker and his wife, who recently became US citizens. Thanks to sewnsewer2 for the wonderful label! (I blurred out the names ... the label is actually perfect!)

Congratulations to your co worker. I remember when I was growing up when my Grandmother became a U.S. citizen. It seemed to be the highlight of her adult life. She studied very hard for it. |
