Radiant Star Fix
I've been working on a Radiant Star forever. Put the star together and it has a bubble in the center.

This is a very common problem in this pattern (also known as a lone star). I made one years ago and probably ripped and redid the center portion at least 4 times before I gave up and said to myself, it is what it is. The good news is that anything size "b" cup or smaller will quilt out. so if you just have a bubble and and not a bra cup size you are fine, it will quilt out.

done one in the 90's and turned out like that, but, it quilted out very nicely and looks great

Probally a inch maybe a inch and half.

Well, if it really bothers you you can try ripping the center seam again so you have two halves. Then carefully pin it, making sure to line up each intersecting seam (you can also use a dot of elmer's school glue). Then when you go to resew it, start at the center and work out to the edge. Then flip it and do the other half. Sometimes that helps it lay flatter. I really think an inch to inch and half cup will quilt out though. Here is a link to mine:

What size is your quilt? Its Beautiful. The seams match up. I'm sure its a bias thing.
Don't help that I've sewn clothes for over 40 years so I notice everything. |
If it is just an "A" cup, you should be able to quilt it out. More then that you can try sewing a thicker seam in the center but you will lose some points. You can try sewing a little bigger seam in all of the center diamonds but be careful not to stretch the bias edges and stop at the 1/4 inch mark at each point. Good luck!

You can also try laying it out on a flat surface, and dampening the center. Sometimes that lets the fabric go back closer to its original shape as it dries. Sort of like blocking in reverse.
