Clothes pin bag
This is just so dang cute I thought I would share the link with everyone. I know it say's it is a clothes pin bag, but I think it would be cute as a hang up in a kids closet for loose belts or maybe stockings? What do you think it would be cute as?
http://www.modabakeshop.com/2015/01/...tml#more-27713 I am thinking it might even be nice to store sewing accessories in on the sewing room wall. |
This is so cute. You need to put it on the Tutorial page. Thanks.

When I saw the bag I had to give a little smile I too have made peg bags just like this
Love it these |
I too have a peg bag, just like that, made by my grandmother. It must be 60 or 70 years old, and a real treasure. The top of the "dress" is hessian, and the skirt section is red cotton gingham. It became mine when my mother passed in 2011. I have kept the pattern you posted, just in case I ever want to make one of my own one day. Thanks for posting it.

I see a plastic bag holder in my future.

Much easier to take a little kids short sleeved dress shirt and sew up the front from the bottom to the top two buttons. Then sew across the bottom. Put it on a chlidren's clothes hangar and there you go. Cute, recycled, and useful!
