Yardage??
I saw a post from Pattypurple a few days ago. I believe she was in a new sewing area??
Anyway she made the statement that she had to move 500 yds of her fabric. Does everyone know how much yardage they have??? Boy, I have NO idea????? lol lol I still have a lg bag full that I bought @ a closing and haven't even put it away!! I have a quilt on my table and no room to organize the new material... Really do you all honestly know????????????? Should I be doing this?????? |
Not happening at my house :D Just returned from a 4 week holiday and added another huge pile of fabrics I had purchased as I collected Row by Row patterns! I enjoy spending time in quilt shops and as long as I can I will support them so that they don't disappear :o That's the excuse I'm giving....

Really do you all honestly know????????????? Should I be doing this?????? The box was 12x16x12 inches - I got 115 yards of fabric in it. The fabric weighed 32 pounds, 8 ounces. (The empty box weighed 14.5 ounces.) On this particular batch of fabric - Fabric Traditions - it was 3.5 yards of fabric per pound. (A yard of this fabric weighed approximately 4.5 ounces.) |

About a year ago I carefully folded fabric to fit into a "small" Home Depot moving box.

PS - I have no idea how much fabric I actually do have!
|
I do not know. I do not want to know. But, no matter how much you have, it's never enough.
|
Not enough, my stash fits in 1 slim drawer unit I try and stock up anytime I visit US, as fabric 2-3 times the price a yard in UK, but then I use it all, so stash very small unfortunately, I could kill to have the same stash as some of you gals xx

I have about 300. Not including what isn't on comic boards. Some comic boards have 3-4 yards and that's too much on a board. Then we have the scraps. Ughhh!!!
