Got this small stain on this quilt while quilting it. How would you remove it, or can you?

On scraps of same fabric I've tried Grandma's Spot Remover (best so far), Resolve, lemon juice, Oxy Clean, vinegar, milk, hand sanitizer, and bleach ... so far! I don't have hair spray but maybe daughter does.
One product I heard of (advertisement) was Lift Off. Anyone tried this?

Of course I'd love not to have to take quilt apart, but may have to to slip paper towel under the stain.

Sharpie website offers no help - I have hunted the internet but maybe you know of something? Please? :(

I have had success with hair spray or rubbing alcohol

Did you have to wet fabric first then apply hairspray on a paper towel? That's what I saw recommended. Will have to go next door to daughter and get hers! Thanks!

I have used full strength peroxide to great effect. I would test your yellow and blue fabrics first, because the peroxide is sure to wick to those adjacent squares no matter how lightly you apply the peroxide. For my quilt, the peroxide didn't bleach any of the adjacent colored fabrics and the marker came out completely. You can Google HP as stain remover and see recommendations for adding a little dawn and/or baking soda, but in my case I didn't do that. I just used it full strength, completely saturated the markings, and then waited for the stains to fade and disappear (took about an hour) after which I plunged that part of the quilt in water to dilute the HP. Stain was gone and the adjacent fabrics none the worse for the experimentation. Good luck.

PS--I hear stain removal is more easily accomplished if you have pre-washed your fabrics.

I've used hairspray directly on a good white shirt and it took it out. Of course I washed it after I sprayed and hand scrubbed it.

On a scrap of the white fabric, try clear hand sanitizer. If you have a bright colour backing, be careful to only get the top wet as anything to remove the mark may leave a light spot on your backing.

Thanks everyone! My horse trainer SIL solved it!! Vetrolin linament by Farnham! Available at any feed store.
Here's before and after. Of course this is a very close up. Just kept applying and blotting. Slight yellow look after a bit but rinsed totally out!
(He says its good for people, too! Sure does smell nice - I spilled some in the sink)

Still a tiny mark but I'm very happy! Will do a little more on the scrap. I did try hand sanitzer, fabric was pre-washed. So thanks everybody!

Try hand sanitizer.

In my original post I listed all the products I've tried and that was one of them! But thanks.

All I can say is good luck.
