Singer 27 Treadle

My presser foot is stuck solid. I've got the needle bar moving (victory!) but the presser foot will not budge.
As well the tension screw at the top is seized as well.
I've noticed there's a cam (?) In a slot above the presser foot lever. Is this thing supposed to glide freely?
It doesn't move.
Thanks in advance if anyone can help me out.

Kriol, patience, heat, gentle taps

Oil and patience, lots of it. It took 2 weeks to the the presser foot lift on the Singer 66-1 red eye to move, it was stuck due to old oil and a bit of rust.

I'm thinking there is a very recent thread about a stuck needle bar. The advice is the same.

Have you tried PB Blaster penetrating oil on the stuck areas and a hair drier to heat it up? Good luck and let us know!!

I haven't found PB Blaster in this silly small town. Sewing machine oil and patience has worked so far. My poor machine was on her way to the landfill before given to me all rusted and seized. I must save her! I wish I could post photos but I only have a smart phone.
