Looking for non-USA-market fabric designs and designers
I want to widen my exposure to fabric designers. I really enjoy the unique perspective of fabric designers from around the world and fabric designed for non-USA markets (Japan, Great Britain, Europe, Australia etc). For instance I just found some fabric by Nani Iro Canvas and I have found some fabric for Canadian quilters.
My Internet searches seem to be hit or miss. Could you recommend specific designers/manufacturers/brands designed for non-USA markets to help me find them more readily? Thanks! |

you'll have to dig around to find what you are looking for in particular but you can see who is making fabrics all over the world here. |

I know equilter.com carries Japanese fabric imports. They may carry other non-American fabrics. Luana Rubin travels around the world to shows and may purchase for the business while traveling.

Liberty of London, although it's super expensive.
Some of the Australian fabrics are cool. Most fabrics are imported. Robert Kaufman now says which of theirs are from Japan. |
The online store I Love Fabric (used to be Pink Chalk Fabric) offers many international designers and manufacturers. They also have a huge selection of modern fabrics.

Fabric freedom is a UK company.

Quilt Gate and Lecien are Japanese mfr.
