Herringbone Toddler Quilt - My Second Finish
3 Attachment(s)
Just wanted to share pics of my second completed quilt. Coincidentally, it was made for my niece's second birthday. I was able to use many of the same fabrics I used in my first quilt (see https://www.quiltingboard.com/pictur...d-t295097.html) with the addition of the orange prints, the gray linen blend background and the bird print backing. I was really happy with the bird print as binding. Seemed like the perfect finishing touch...
Squaring up the HST blocks resulted in much more precise piecing than my first project! |
Very sweet quilt, lovely colours and your piecing is great!

That is a beautiful quilt. I agree that the bird print is a great backing and an especially nice binding. I adds a nice 'zing' to your quilt. I admire the fact that you took time and opportunity to critic your work so far and see places that you could improve your techniques and move forward. I think you have a great quilting future and I hope you will keep sharing with us.
