We will be heading from Dayton, OH to Lake of the Ozarks area later this fall ---- any good bargain fabric stores along the way or in the Ozarks area?

I'd be sure to visit Missouri Star in Hamilton, Mo., not sure if it fits your request of "bargain" fabric store...

Springfield, Mo, has F&M fabric, also another shop, can't remember name, google fabric shops.

Not sure how close you would be to Batesville AR, but it is definitely worth the trip to Marshall's Dry Goods.
