Billie Lauder

Billy Lauter passed away August 2, 2018 in Eugene Oregon. She will be greatly missed with all of her wonderful techniques for quilting.

How terribly sad. I was fortunate enough to attend one of her workshops years ago, and not only was she an amazing teacher and quilter, but a truly kind and funny lady. The quilting world has lost a true gem.

I was afraid to open this. She was so fun and talented!

Saw her a couple of times on Alex Andersons quilt show. She will be missed.

I loved her humor. I saw her at a Road to California show a number of years ago and have seen her on some quilt shows. She was definitely unique and had fun doing what she did. That is success.

Sad news to hear. I would watch her on TV quilt shows and she seemed so jolly and fun. She had such great ideas on quilts and loved to watch what she had to share.

She was a great teacher and wonderful person. May she rest in peace. Thanks to the internet her teachings will continue.

So sorry, I have not heard of her. Always sad to lose another quilter and person.

I am so sad to hear about her passing. Was fortunate to attend one of her classes a few years back and have a couple of her books.
