Fun finishes for friends
 

I have the greatest neighbors - they are 72 y/o twins (ladies) that have spent a lifetime farming, raising cattle, running a John Deere shop, cutting/baling hay, mowing acres of land regularly, etc... still very, very active women that keep my husband and I young! They love color but they don't like anything fancy - no swirly, girly, pretty quilting.. no fancy, dancy fabrics.. just plain bright color..

I made these two quilts for them this week and just brought them over - perfect as today is, by far, the coldest day this winter! They loved them :)

Fabrics and pattern are from www.craftsy.com - they were super simple and fun to put together!

They are both awesome. I think your 72 twin ladies sound like the sweetest neighbors. What a wonderful gift. In the midst of your bad weather, they are cheerful and will keep them warm.
