OBW finally done

I want to say thank you to everyone for all your help and suggestions! I went with the green for the background (it’s not nearly as dark as the photos), and since the fabric had a vintage feel for me, I opted for muslin for the backing, and the same green for the binding. All the fabrics are from Joann’s, I really love their Legacy Premium Muslin, it’s so soft and silky, I chose a large edge to edge panto for texture instead of design. Ended up as a nice 71 x 90 twin, and it will wait patiently for a new home, thanks for looking.

The green is perfect with that - I do like to see each kaleidoscope individually - it's easier to admire each one when it is separated by sashing.

It's beautiful. It does have that vintage look.

Love your quilt and the “poison green” really sets it!
|
Love the quilt! Good job!
|
What a marvelous quilt.
|
the green is so unusual, I just love it.
|
Great choice with the green. It contrasts nice with the blocks. Pretty quilt and quilting too!
|
I love the medallions in your quilt. It has a very classic look to it. :o

I too believe the green was a great choice for the "K" print. I also like the panto
you chose. It seems so right for the feel of circles or twirls that kaleidoscopes give me. I enjoy being able to see the individual designs that are created too. |
