Red fabric on quilt
 

Steam has dampened some red fabric on a quilt I am making...with a white background. Is there anything that will take out the red stain. Does anyone know of a product to be used when quilt is finished to set the colors? Thank you for any information. Joyce

The red fabric I buy doesn't bleed after I wash it with color catchers when I buy it. I think it is just excess dye.
