I love Aurifil thread. I only use it. I used to get it from Canada cheaper than US even with shipping. Don't remember the company. Does anyone know of a discount or a Canadian site that sells it at a reasonable price. Thanks

I can't remember right off my head but there is a place in Windsor that sells it. I use to go to Canada to get some of my meds and would stop in a LQS there that had all kinds of threads for LA machines and DSM. I have enough thread from there to last a life time, which it is doing. Right now I have switched to Glide but Aurfil is my next choice. I was just looking and this may be the place I went. There is also an online quilt shope and supply in Canada. Again I can seem to be able to get the links. I will try again.

Try "Along Came Quilting". I'm not sure how their prices compare to yours. You could always google Aurifil Thread Canada and see if you can find the store you used to buy from.

I use to buy it from Tristan Threads from BC. They were a clearing house for Aurifil and had terrific bargains. I sure miss them. No website available anymore.

Aurifil is pretty common now here in Canada, so you really do need to compare all the possibilities.

The Fat Quarter Shop (USA) currently has Aurifil thread on sale, at $8.39 for a 1,422 yard spool. (Other sizes are on sale, too.)

overseasfabrics.com sells Aurifil here in BC. They don't have all their products online yet, but if you go to their website you can contact them about ordering.
