May have worn out seam ripper.

https://i.pinimg.com/236x/43/7a/48/4...9ef6fc312c.jpg Started this top yesterday and for whatever reason switched sewing foot. Some seams were quarter inch and some not. So today started ripping out so many seams, pressing and after lunch will start sewing again using only ONE foot. Sadly, no special egg nog, no chocolate. Acid reflux acting up so have to be careful what I eat. ? is...how's your weekend?https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/eek.png

What you've got so far looks great. I've done worse. My seam ripper gets a lot of exercise.

Pic is what it should be. I've just started recreating the top.

A painful lesson! I have acid reflux and I can sympathize with the watch the chocolate 🍫 as I watch it too ( among lots of other things)

I ordered five new seam rippers yesterday! LOL I couldn't find my favorite one and it was silly not to have all of them my favorite. Life is short.

I had reflux and a low dosage prescription pill every three days stops it. I can eat anything, anytime now. The specialist I went to said every time I had reflux I was damaging my esophagus. I started the pill once a day for two weeks then he had me take one every other day, if no reflux then one every two days and so on until I found the right ratio of days to pill. My esophagus has healed from the damage caused by reflux and a general MD that said take Rolaids and stop all foods that caused it.

Oh how well I understand The over use of a seam ripper, I get so tired of frog stitching with some quilts. This quilt is beautiful and you have done a great job on it. Seam ripper failure or not.

OnebyOne - So sorry you have such difficulty with reflux. One question. You mentioned ordering 5 seam rippers - What is your favorite? I end up using one enough it might be nice to have something other than the cheap little one I use. Thanks!

great quilt! I too have worn out a seam ripper! I actually buy cheap ones and toss every few years.

I made this quilt for my oldest granddaughter almost 4 years ago. It's always wise to start and end using the same foot on your machine. I must use my seam rippers a lot also, as I'm forever buying a Clover Seam Ripper from JoAnn with my coupons!
