COVID scam
This morning, our local newspaper alerted everyone to not become a victim of this latest scam. Scammers are sending emails or texts to people claiming to be from Pfizer, offering money or a free gift to complete a survey. The survey will eventually ask for your credit card number or banking info. Do not participate in this. Do not open the text or email. Do not click on any link. The newspaper said the scam now involves Pfizer but eventually it will involve Moderna and Johnson & Johnson.

Thanks for letting us know. Makes me want to put them over my knee!

Always going to be snake oil salesmen.
|
Very soon there will be more people trying to get something for nothing then those that can provide the something.
|
thanks. as it was when signing up to get a shot they asked for info more than i wanted. everyone wants information, for good or bad. just be careful.

Tartan there is a man on t.v. who always makes me think of those cowboy shows with Snake Oil salesmen!!!! glad someone else uses that term. sometimes it just fits!!

More scammers out there than we could ever know about. When that is your "occupation" you will devote endless hours making them up. So sad.
|
Will they never quit?
|
Gee, I feel left out as I haven't received that scam on my cell phone yet. Have had the S.S. and pretty much all the others plus love getting the text about how I can improve my "size" if you know what I mean. Its been sort of quiet on my cellphone of late.
