Labyrinth walk last step help needed
The last step is to cut a diagonal line across top right and bottom left corners.
Picture appears to show the cut line 6 1/4" above the light gray/black seam on one corner and the dark gray/black seam on the other. BUT it also shows the cutting line almost crossing the intersection of the two black border pieces. Which is correct? Or am I interpreting the images incorrectly? |

Approach the last step as if you were putting on a mitered border. Sew the borders to within 1/4 inch of the intersection. You do not cut until the two sides have been joined. Here is a YouTube showing how to miter a border. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mmPamKC5e8s Hope this helps.

I understand that cutting the corners help to reinforce the optical illusion but unless I planned to display it on a wall, I think I would leave the corner on so it fits the bed better. 🤷♀️

Oops! I was referring to the wrong corner. I agree with Tartan. If you leave the corner as a proper corner, it fits the bed better. But if you want to crop it like the pattern, leave enough so that your binding will not cut off the point.
