Hi everyone, I am an army wife and move around a lot. Presently we are leaving in New Jersey. I have been quilting for a couple of years now, took a class when my husband was deployed for 15 months. It really helped make the time go by faster.
I have just signed up for my first quitling festival, I can't wait till March. Have already signed up for a class and some lectures. Now I just have to buy some extra materials for the class. Yipeee... I read the post regularly and have learned so much already. Do not have a lot of projects that I have not finished, but I do have my daughters quilt that is taking me a while to finish, so for the UFo this year I will try to finish it in January. Blocks are finished but that is about it. Talk to everyoe on the board. Beth

My husband is a chaplain at the time. We have been in for 16 years and loving almost every minute of it. Except for deployments. (Not very fond of those )

No, deployments are not fun. We went through 6 deployments and many other 1-3 month "training" separations.
Mine was not a Chaplain, he was an Aviator. Flew P-3's and C-130's.
