Can photos be posted from an Android phone?

Is there a way to post photos from an Android phone? What instructions I found are I Phine specific or dont seem to match what I an seeing. I dont see any paperclip options ot even a way to add photos to an album. Am I missing something? It seems like something that should be possible.

I am behind on my promise to update my computer skills to phone skills and have not fully used my phone to post here. Some people have a hard time posting photos here, others jump right on in to the deep end.

I can upload photos from my phone to my computer, but then I do the input from there (as I am now) -- that is, I'm on my computer.

The paperclip icon is not an option on the "quick reply" if you click into Go Advanced it is there. I've never been able to get the paper clip to work for me, but I think I've figured out the issue is in my various virus protections and such.

I have an android, but I'm not sure how to reduce a photo to under 2MB and still keep the original size. Here is my standard answer on how to post pictures. There is a place online that IceBlossom uses, that is linked to in my normal post. Also, note the last paragraph on how to get to "Full Site" on an android.

We like pictures. In order to post pictures on Quilting Board, you will probably need to reduce or compress the picture to a file size that is smaller than 2MB. How to post images can be found at https://www.quiltingboard.com/attach...020-01-17-.pdf and on an ipad at https://www.quiltingboard.com/qb-hel...d-t321918.html

Don't forget to scroll over to the far right to find and click on the "Upload" button. As shown at https://www.quiltingboard.com/8565676-post4.html

I have found that only the big red "Reply" button or "Quote" work to give me the paper clip icon to work for adding pictures.

Some additional info regarding reducing images at post #4 and images for the scroll and upload button can be found at #5 of https://www.quiltingboard.com/main-f...d-t312607.html

Another way to post pictures can be found at https://www.quiltingboard.com/showpo...postcount=1143
And how to use an ipad to post pictures can be found at https://www.quiltingboard.com/qb-hel...s-t318147.html

Or simply - Make sure pictures are smaller than 2MB
Click on red "Reply" button
Click on the paper clip icon
Click browse - choose picture/s. (only 5 allowed per post)
Once they show up as being loaded, Scroll over to the right side and click on "Upload"
After the pictures show up as being attached, you can close that window and go back to the screen to finish posting your post.

Some additional notes -
The photos generally need to be reduced to less than 2MB in size. I have heard of people sending an email to themselves as it will ask if you want to reduce the size.

I have an android phone and when I tried to reply on Quilting Board while in mobile view None of the options for adding pictures was available. However, there is an option down at the bottom left of the page that is for Full Site when I tapped on "Full Site" It then looked like the way it looks on my lap top. So it would have the Red Reply and the Go Advanced options.

Do Not Preview post.

I don't try to post pics from my phone, takes too much doing. I send from my phone to my email and post from that. You have to be in the advanced reply window to use the paperclip icon. Remember to go full page to find the upload button on the pop up screen. It will be far right on the page.

THANK YOU!!! The Full Site button was such a game changer. I could swear there's sections that I couldn't see before. This is so much better!

I don't know if you can send them from your cell phone but what I do is send them to my gmail from my phone and then open the email on my computer so I can tweak them if necessary plus resize them to fit on this website. I have Windows 11 on my computer and I just right click the photo and go down and click on "photos", open it up and click on "edit" at the top left corner. Do whatever is needed, save it under a new name, then go back to the screen and click on the 3 dots farther to the right at the top. This will give you the choice to resize the photo. Then save it again. It will come up saying its already there so I just click save or yes, whatever comes up and the photo is done. It may be a bit more work but at least I know I have it tweaked and resized ready to send to others if I so choose.

I figured out that if I edit and resize I can make the photos small enough to upload to my albums. From there I can link them to posts. It can only be done in Full Site mode.

Thanks for all the help!
