Hello! I only recently realized there is a "introduce yourself" section! So I guess I'd better! I am a former school teacher who has been quilting for about 3 years, although I started my first quilt probably 12 or more years ago! It was an Irish chain, and I made so many SERIOUS mistakes with it that I would periodically get disgusted with it and throw it in the closet, where it would remain abandoned for years at a time. About 3 years ago, I got it out and figured out how to solve my problems, and have been quilting steadily, if not quickly, ever since. I bel;ong to a guild in a nearby city, but find I get more info on how to do stuff here. I have two cats that "help" quilt, as well as the rabbit in my avatar.
