Wouldn't this look great filled with FQs, fabric, or even to store a quilt? If "gifting" a quilt, it would be cool to use any leftover matching fabric to hold the quilt:

That's cool... and I was just trying to find easter egg baskets for my 9 month old. Thanks! You just did my search for me!!!

Tootsie, thanks for sharing that link.
I have some cute Easter fabric and I'm thinking they would make up really cute Easter baskets for my DD's. bopeep, I like your idea of serving bread from one of these. I might try lining with Insulbrite to help hold in the heat - we like warm bread. I'm not sure if it's too stiff. I'll have to play around with it. |
That's for the link. Love the bag! And sooooo easy.

Does anyone know if using a polyester/cotton mix would work ok with this? I have only used 100% cotton before but the mixes have soooo many more options. Would it hold through numerous washes as it will be for a 10 month old.
|
Sure, I think that a poly/cotton would work too. The only downside might be that some stains won't come out due to the poly. But, then again, sometimes you have that problem with cotton too.

oh man, I've gotta get back to that basket. It's such a great idea for a gift, and uses scraps too!
