The setting of the book is Jackson, MS, 1962, and is the "tell all" of the "elite society" and their "help". (maids)

lol. 'Guess I'm more out of touch than I thought. I only read historical and autobiographical books. Oh, and quilting books, magazines, articles.

I have read "The Help". I enjoyed it. Left me wanting more.

I thought it was a great book. I heard a lot about the book before I read it and I was afraid it wouldn't live up to it's hype but it truly did.

I thought it was a pretty good light read. It's a good book for those days you just want an escape. No thinking required.
