WOW! Something I've wanted to make for quite some time - but am scared off by all the hand sewing - is it tough to do when you get a few rows out from center - or do you work row by row? Maybe if I start on a doll quilt size, work my way up to crib size and take it from there. It's gorgeous!

Lovely quilt - how long does it take to make each "puff"?

I sew 4 inch squares in rows then stuff them, sew them onto quilt then embroider the squares together the only things that takes time with this quilt is turning the squares inside out and add the stuffing as the stuffing as to be quiet tight in each square to get the shape this is so time bearing lol.
Have a go its a good quilt to make in winter as the bigger it gets the warmer it is when placed on you knee whilst sewing the quilt lol

Oh, I would have to lay on top of this quilt, it looks soooo comfy and snuggly. Really pretty work.
