After a year at the Tulsa Stove Hospital, my beloved 1948 Chambers is home- top rechromed, all cleaned up and purty!
Our air conditioning is unfortunately not working, otherwise I would be cooking right now! |
Wow...now that's a stove!! Beautiful!
|
Oh my, I have stove envy! Great find.

She weighs 550 lbs. And she will last another 60 years easy. By then I'll be 105, so I might be ready to give her up. |
What a beauty...love those old stoves. Sure would like to have that griddle

Oh, children- Stovelist.com. It's my porn. (other than eBay and vintage fabrics, my other weakness) These stoves last forever and there are a whole lot of them out there. Like sewing machines, you just gotta keep your eyes peeled. Craiglist is where I found this baby. Stovelist is also fabulous.

It's a beauty1!!!

Love your stove! And I had that set of pots. Still have some of them with turquoise lids. Paid $40.00 for them in 1961.

Could we see pictures inside the doors?
